Jan Mommies...

Tomorrow looks like it starts the wave of Jan due dates, according to the expecting list.

I personally don't think I will go this month, since I am due 1/29-- but one can dream!

I am starting to feel A LOT more pressure in the crotch area... a mixture of feeling like a black & blue hoo-hah and inner-thigh soreness. Good times.

Belly also feels heavy sometimes-- but I have been experiencing this for a while. I am also getting some on and off menstral like cramps-- very subtle.

There are also days, where I feel like someone has taken a sledgehammer to my back. These are my favorite.

My next appt is Tuesday, where I will find out if there is anymore progress. I am not too optimistic though.

Just gotta organize the nursery a bit more, do a little laundry and get a couple of other things in order-- then it's GO TIME!

How is everyone else doing????

just waiting around. I currently have zero progress going on (no dilation, no effacement, no feeling of head) and my date is Friday.

I've decided not to think too much about it and just let nature take its course. I know my OB won't let go more than a week past so there will be an end in sight and I'll get to meet my

as for baby things, I have the essentials but furniture is not being delivered until after we're home and once I know the sex I can order my bedding.

otherwise we're good to go, just have to get DH to install the car seat base.

I am due 1/26 and my doc goes on vacation 1/25 so I'm praying this baby comes early!!!

My last appt was on Fri and I was 70% effaced and still only 1 CM dilated. Baby is still head down but hasn't descended at all. My BP was a bit high so I have to have someone at work take it for me on Monday. TMI but I started losing my mucous plug a week ago, I'm so hoping that's a sign!

Im done, with everything. Just waiting for him. DH has a "feeling" he is coming today. I wish. I go to the Dr on Wed again so hopefully things will have progressed. Other than that just waiting. Its like Chinese Water torture.

I'm not officially a January mommy, (due Feb. 4th), but don't think I will make it til then.

I've been 1 cm dialated since xmas week, and 50% effaced. And I've been contracting..haven't hit the magic 4 in one hour yet..but I usually get 2-3 an hour.

Not to mention he's so low and against my cervix, they couldn't even measure his head at last week's appt lol.

I go back to the Dr. on Wed, so we'll see what else has progressed.

I'm due the 18th but have a feeling I will go longer. I have an appointment tomorrow so we'll see. There hasn't been any progress the last two appointments from being 1 cm dilated. I still have organizing to do, and the furniture isn't in yet but we ordered it late so i wasn't expecting it.
