Jacob's 2nd Birthday Party Review
Jacob's partywas yesterday and I was a huge success!!! I highly recommend checking out Mid Island Gymnastics for Birthday parties... The price isn't that bad either--- $350 for 15 children and then $13.95 for each additional..
What I think was great was that out of my friends they usually have them at the same places in my neighborhood and this place was different -- off the beaten track. Plus, it is huge so kids had so much space to run around and have fun-- the foam pit, the long trampoline, obstacle courses and the best-- 2 big blow ups one a huge slide and one huge bouncy castle with a slide that you couldn't ge tthe kids off of...
Favors-- I gave out personalized coolers that I had made up through a person in Hicksville-- (nicks & nacks). FM me for info.. I would definately use her again plus she does regular personalzation too for baby gifts.
Food- pizza was included for the kids. for the adults- I got pizza and had platters of crudite, fruit and a hummus platter.. It went over very well...
Cake-- Jacob is obsessed with Blue's Clues so I went to my local Shoprite and they did a Blues CLues cake for me which was perfect... I highly recommend going to a supermarket if you want a character cake-- they do everything and anything. and the price was right as well as the cake tasting good.
Gifts--He got everything he wanted ( well, everything I requested for him) except the train table because it was out of stock-- so my question is can anyone recommend a good traintable-- Toys r us had the Imaginarium on sale but it is completely out of stock and I am on the hunt to find him one before the holidays...
I am glad that it is over but an hour and a half goes really quick!!!!

Sounds great. I was going to have Sydney do a gymnastics class there this fall and then decide if I wanted her 2nd party there. We decided to wait until the sping for the class but I might still check them out for her party.

definately check them out for parties-- turned out we were the only ones with a birthday in the afternoon so I didn't have to worry about being kicked out for the next party...

it was sooo much fun! Talia had a blast. she especially loved the trampoline and the blow up castle. The cake was beautiful - everything was just perfect!!

Thanks, I found the train table that I wanted in stock at the MAssapequa TOysRUS and I still got it for the sale price becasue they left the signs up. JAcob was so excited!!!!
