Can someone explain to me the whole process?? TIA...

There are so many different protocols. I can give you and example.
Step 1: You and DH have an IVF consult. I remember the RE explaining the steps. We each had blood work drawn and DH scheduled his SA.
Step 2:DH had his SA. A week later we had a follow up. Told to wait to AF arrives and come in on CD3.
Step 3: CD3 had BW and sono
Step 4: CD 6 Saline Sono
Step 5: CD 13 Mock Transfer
Step 6: some people will begin BCP; I didn't I began Lupron for suppression. Once AF arrived call for BW and sono on cd3
Step 7: Began stims at night and continued lupron in the AMp
Step 8: You will go for monitoring appts to check growth of your follies and estrogen and/or progesterone checks. This can take as little as 6 days of stims or as long as 14 pending on how your follicles respond to the stims. Once ready you trigger(an injection that gives your folloes a boost to mature and ready for ovulate so retrieval can happen)Retrieval is usually 36 hours later(at retrieval DH will provide a sample). Pending your fertilization report and embryos development a day 3 or day 5 transfer will take place. After transfer you wait 9-14 days for your Beta.

This info is helpful bc I am doing IVF next cycle. I have a question, you do steps 1 through 5 BEFORE you begin bcp's or stims? I thought u started stims right after bcp's and the sonos were happening while you were stimming? TIA ??

This info is helpful bc I am doing IVF next cycle. I have a question, you do steps 1 through 5 BEFORE you begin bcp's or stims? I thought u started stims right after bcp's and the sonos were happening while you were stimming? TIA ??
I am pretty sure my saline sono and mock transfer were before starting the BC pills. The mock transfer may have been while on BC pills but they were definitely before stims. The only sonos that are done while stimming are ones to check how your follicles are progressing.

Also I have already had a saline Sono done due to history of fibroids and polyps... Would I have to have another??

i think everyone is diff,bc i had the saline sono way before ivf and i never did a mock transfer
in a nutshell
bcp for 3 weeks
started stims,did that for 12 days
lupron trigger,went in for retrieval
5 day later transfer
lot more in between lol but basically that was it
