IVF question How long does it all last?

I was wondering if anyone had a time frame of how long the whole IVF process works. From your first Cycle day three visit until the ET. I know everyone is different. If I started say today when would the ET be? I called my RE but they have to call me back.

I am changing jobs and it seems the department I am going to wants me sooner then I was previously told. My boss in my position now knows but I am moving to a different agency within my company and really do not want to have to tell someone else what is going on.

I would say about 4 weeks between your first injection and your first pregnancy test. This does not include the IVF class or any pre-testing that your RE requires you to have.

This obviously depends on timing and how well you respond. I went through it twice and both times was about 4 weeks (and 2 of those 4 weeks is waiting for the pregnancy test!)

As for ET and ER, those you can't really predict. I was told about my ER 2 days before it happened.

For me it fluctuated but it was about 2 weeks from CD3 to ER

Ok I went back to look in my planner to see when I started to help you out if I can. I saw my doctor on day 5 which was September 15 I had my retrieval on Tuesday October 12, and then I did a day 3 transfer Friday October 15. I did have to see the doctor 2 days a week towards the end. Let me know if that helps.

It all depends on the protocol that you are on. I was on the long Lupron protocol and it took 8 weeks, and it was no picnic as you can imagine!

depends on the protocol. i started with BCP so for me it was 43 days between first starting the BCP and ER. by the time of my beta it will be 54 days total.

NSUH told me aprox 7 weeks. I am not going on BCP's, just waiting for AF to arrive then setting up appts for sonograms bloodwork, then i think lupron is started after my next period.
