IVF meds - fridge???

I just received the BIG box of meds; it was not packed in those cold packs like my gonal f or ovidrel was. Do i need to keep them in the fridge?

they are in my garage now so it's probably close to fridge temp! LOL

What meds are they? I only had to put Gonal F in the fridge.

Re: IVF meds - fridge???

If it is packed in ice, I would refrigerate it. If it comes in cool packs I kept it at room temperature. I don't know about all of those meds but the Ganirex, PIO, and Endometrin were not refrigerated in my house.

When I lost power during Sandy, I asked my IVF nurse what to do and she said that my refrigerated meds would be fine as long as they were taken within the next moth.

I don't know what all the meds are, but Gonal-F definitely gets refrigerated. Ganirelix and PIO are not. And all the meds should be labeled with the ideal temperature to store them at.

When in doubt, call your RE.
