IVF grant?
Has anyone applied? How was the process and did it take long?

I did in 2009, but that month we found out we were pg with dd. The re will help you fill it out, if the office you are in participates mine didn't so I had to go to a different re. I was told at that time it takes about 6 weeks if funds are available. Eta you had to have 4 failed iui attempts when I filled it out not sure if its still the same.

I did the NYS Department of Health grant. Didn't need any failed IUI attempts. This was last summer. RE helped me with all the paperwork.

NYS no longer has the funds for the grant. The cycle had to be done before March 2011 or something like that. We talked to the RE about it and he said it was no longer available.

My dr just told me he would refer me to a dr who participated in it. :( Unless he just has no clue since he doesn't participate ?
That really stinks if it is gone Thanks for the info though.

That really stinks if it is gone Thanks for the info though.
Yeah, it really does stink. My RE is a participating facility...and when we discussed it with him, he was genuinly upset that the funds had run out and that there were no additional grants.
