IVF girls - Embryo Glue?
Its being offered to us, and I am not sure if we should.
There is no guarantee that it will work, and it costs a lot of $.
I am on the fence.

Re: IVF girls - Embryo Glue?
Hope this helps!
Increased implantation rates in patients with recurrent implantation failures following the use a new transfer medium enriched with hyaluronan
The purpose of the study was to evaluate the efficacy of a new embryo transfer medium containing hyaluronan and recombinant albumin (Embryo Glue-Vitrolife, Gothenburg) on the clinical outcome of day 3 embryo transfers in patients with a history of previous implantation failures (PIF). Material and methods: A total of 346 consecutive embryo transfers cycles that were undertaken during a time period of 4 months using embryo glue were retrospectively compared with 346 consecutive embryo transfer cycles undertaken immediately prior to the use of this medium. Groups were further subdivided into two subgroups regarding the presence of previous implantation failures. All embryos were cultured in G-III series culture medium (Vitrolife, Gothenburg). The embryos were transferred in G-III medium in the control group whereas they were transferred in Embryo Glue
Results: Patients undergoing their first treatment cycle were younger than those with a history of PIF. The number of M-II oocytes and 2PN fertilization rates were similar in all groups. The rate of good quality and 8-cell embryos were lower in patients with PIF (p<0.01). There was no difference in the mean number of embryos transferred, however, clinical pregnancy (CPR) and implantation rates (IR) were lower in PIF groups. Compared to patients undergoing their first treatment cycle, in the PIF group both CPR and IR were increased with the use of Embryo Glue. The increase in IR was statistically significant (p<0.00001). Conclusions: Embryo transfer medium enriched with hyaluronan and recombinant albumin provides better performance for day 3 transfers in patients with recurrent implantation failures. This benefit is not apparent for patients undergoing their first treatment cycle. More studies are required to explain the enhancement of implantation with the use of hyaluronan.

Re: IVF girls - Embryo Glue?
Supposedly my RE used it on both IVF's - but neither was successful. I am now getting a bill for it and it is $375. I would use it again if given the choice, anything to improve your chances.
Good Luck!
