IVF

I want to start by saying I'm sorry, I NEVER knew what you ladies go through to try and have a baby and how strong each of you is to do this. I think of my journey TTC for 15 months and realize that's not much compared to what you go through.

Before a few days ago, I thought you give yourself a few shots, retrieve eggs and get them put back in, done. I had no idea that that is the minimum and what you do and now I have a glimpse of what you ladies go through. I just want to give each of you a huge

A coworker of mine is going through her second round of IVF. The first round was cancelled because she was overmedicated. This time around, they changed her meds and things were looking good. Then, they called two days ago and said she was ovulating and they couldn't do IVF but would try an IUI. Her husband went in to give a sample, but it wasn't good because he had been on antibiotics. IUI postponed for the following day as long as DH's sample was better. I feel so terrible. It's been a long journey for her and she's done everything to make this work and then all of a sudden her body ovulates early and her DH's sample is no good.

I am rooting for each and every one of you and will keep you in my prayers each night. I hope you all are blessed with beautiful children soon.

Thank you for your kind words! I have two sisters that went thruogh IVF so I thought I would be more than prepared. But when we started our first round, I was floored at how hard and draining it would be.
Now we are on our third round (crossing everything )
and it doesn't get any easier. FOr me, I try to have faith, but i feel like I am losing that too) We lost a baby in July and I feel like God has forgotten about me. (I'm sure we are all feeling this way).
All I can say is, those of us going through infertility are amazing mommies in waiting. I am praying God remembers all of us and blesses us soon.
