Iui timing vent
I guess I just need to vent. First off I hate the line opk tests. Long story short I had two iui thurs and fri. Post wash counts were great (30 mil and 15 mil). I had got a surge (so I thought) and blood work was inconclusive. My levels were coming up a little short of a surge but since I got a pos opk they thought maybe the blood test was catching it on the way down. Long story short I went in for blood work today and I was def surging so i had my third iui today and the counts were 7 mil. They said anything above 5 is good but I just wish we held (we are also dealing with mf) I honestly thought that they were just going to confirm ovulation has happened already but I brought my husband just in case he needed to produce. I still have a good feeling about this month and since my husband is away on business durning the week I'm not sure when I will be able to do this again.
I can't believe the first two iuis, all the prep, waiting time off of work were for nothing. If I get a bfp it will all be worth it but still
Also my surge was 25 and I am crampy. Do you think I'm ovulating today?
Thanks for reading this and letting me vent.

Re: Iui timing vent
First off . I know how stressful this can be. When I was on clomid doing my iuis, my RE always had me use the CBE digital ovulation kits with the smiley face. That way there was no doubt if I was ovulating or not. They were more expensive but so worth it.
Sounds like you are definitely ovulating now. I know you feel those earlier iuis may have been too early, but who knows? The good news is it sounds like you got your bases covered this month. I think you have a really good chance of getting pregnant. GL!!!

Re: Iui timing vent
Did you trigger? I know that can throw off OPKs. The good thing is if you are Oing now, there is sperm up there waiting. It lives for about 2 days in your body.

No trigger. I used the line test and apparently Im not good at reading them!! I will always use the for now on but hopefully I will not need to lol. I guess Im just disappointed bc my husbands schedule will not allow me to do this again for a while so I just wanted to get it right this time. I always stress about timing but with the digital opk I have always been on the money. I have been so right on that I decided to save $$ this month and buy the line test and it totally through me off. Hopefully one of the 7mil will get there!!!
Thanks for your response

First
Second I think you are good this month. Sperm can survive up to 5 days in your body so you have a great chance of getting pregnant. Good Luck!!
