IUI SUCCESSES??!!
Please let me know if u had an IUI success on day you surge or day after surge etc. I already had 2 natural iui's the day after I surge and no success. I think the day of the surge might be better. but my dr office said i get IUI the day AFTER i surge only. any advice?

I had two successful IUI's,currently one successful pregnancy (9w3d). I had a trigger shot both times and my IUI was done 36 hours after my trigger. (trigger makes you ovulate 36-48 hours after the shot).

We got a BFP on IUI #1....Here was the schedule:
Tuesday 7/24: Trigger shot around 3PM
Wednesday 7/25: IUI around 10 in the morning
Thursday 7/26: IUI around 1 pm in the afternoon
Friday 7/27: IUI around 10 in the morning
Our post wash #s were NOT encouraging to say the least, so something about this schedule worked. HTH!

I am 15wks pregnant and got pregnant on my first try with IUI.
Saw the egg on a Monday.
Took the trigger shot on Tuesday morning.
Had the IUI Wed. morning. (about 24hrs after the trigger)
Got my BFP 10 days later.

Trigger shot is a shot of hormones which ensure that the mature egg will rupture and drop so that it can be fertilized. It basically guarantees ovulation.

I got PG 3 out of 5 times with natural IUI's. No triggers. No meds. Sadly 2 of my pregnancies were miscarriages but rightnow I am 19 weeks and one day!
All of my IUI cycles that resulted in pregnancy had at least 2-4 back to back IUIs in each cycle. I was monitored very clsoely but had very stubborn follicles.

I took clomid cycle days 3-5 (7/3-7/5). The trigger shot is made of HCG and is shot into your stomach. It makes you ovulate within 24 hours (from what I understand).

You can take the shot in your upper arm too. That is where I did it.

I got pregnant on my first IUI...
I took Clomid days 3-5, I was doing at home ovulation sticks, when I got my surge on day 14 of my cycle I called the Dr's, and they told me to come in the next day for the IUI, they did it around 11:15 am. I am now 27 weeks pregnant and everything is going great!!! I dint use any trigger shots...

I was successful on my first triggered IUI (in my side/hip area). I had IUIs at 24 and 48 hours. My prior natural surge IUI didn't do it for me. No MF issues and we were unexplained IF. Good luck!
