IUI questions??????
Today, Tuesday 3/2, my follies are almost there; 19mm this morning and they seem to grow a rate of 2mm a day (thank you royal jelly + clomid!) RE says "one more day" for blood and sono before IUI. I'm guessing that my trigger shot will be administered tomorrow in the AM at the RE's office (they asked me to bring it). My questions are:
When will my IUI most likely be if I take the trigger shot tomorrow in the AM? How about if i do it myself in the PM? Thursday or Friday - any guesses or past experience?
Also, is it safe to BD tonight, two days before the first possible IUI? or will that ruin DH's sperm count (SA came back normal - no issues)?
Lastly, should we BD the night of the IUI too? The days after?
Anyone with experience, let me know!

The way my RE did the trigger shot was 24-36 hours before the IUI...
As for BD before , thats something best left for the RE to tell you because I'm not certain...
After the IUI, my RE always told me to feel free to "follow up" if we wanted to...If memory serves me correct the egg lives for 24 hours (ish) so no need to BD for days on end unless you want to

If you trigger tomorrow morning then your IUI should be thursday morning.
I think the general rule for BD before a "sample"" is needed is 48 hours, but as Bops said, you can do whatever you want after!

i'm in the same boat - i was triggered this morning and am going in for the iui tomorrow morning. My RE usually does it 24 hours after the shot.
As for BD'ing, i believe your safe 2 days beforehand, but no less than that. As for after you can definitely BD as much as you want. I asked the same thing after my first one and the dr said there's no harm and it can only help increase your chances

I have no advice, I just wanted to say we will most likely be on the same schedule!!!    I go in tomorrow to be monitored and if my follies (I have 2 right now) are big enough, we will do the IUI Thursday and Friday!!!

OMG! we will be like a day apart in the 2WW! My RE decided to wait and do the IUI Friday and Saturday
