IUI question
At my RE's office DH has to bring the sample (or do it at the office) by 9am and I have to be in at 11am.
How long does the procedure actually take on my end? Are there any restrictions after the procedure?
Thanks ladies. I really appreciate it!

Re: IUI question
The IUI itself is about as quick as a PAP. When we did IUIs they always had me just lay on the table (slightly inclined too) for about 10 minutes.
No restrictions afterwards... business as usual.

Re: IUI question
The longest part of the wait for me was them prepping DH's sample. If your DH is bringing it at 9, then it should be ready for you at 11. It should take no more than half an hour from start to finish. They had me rest afterwards on the table for about 10 minutes as well. I was told no restrictions on activities following the IUI.
Good luck!!

Re: IUI question
Awesome ladies. I thought it was quick, and I wasn't sure about the restrictions.
It looks like the weekend of my IUI is going to be a busy one!

Re: IUI question
We dropped off our "sample" at 7:00 and by 9:30 I was on my way home. Th entire proedure took 5 minutes and then I had to rest for 10 minutes before getting up. I had some cramps right after which lasted afew hours but was fine after that. Good luck!
