IUI Pain
I had my second back to back IUI today, and I am having extreme pain on my right side. Does Ovidrel make ovulation more intense? I took it Monday night.

I'm not really sure about the trigger but I know that sometimes you can experience pain and discomfort b/c of the fact that they are opening the cervix. And the discomfort can last for a few days. I've had IUI's where I felt nothing at all and then I had one in which I experienced a lot of discomfort.

I never had to trigger but it sounds like it may have just been ovulation pain. Sometimes I think you only notice these things because we are hyper-aware and analyzing every little twinge.

Thanks for the replies! I usually feel ovulation pain, but it is very intense on the right side (my good follie area). I have a hot water bottle on it now.

It might very well. I was always kinda achy after IUI's...I mean there's a lot going on in there right now!

I had my first IUI today and am having my second back to back tomorrow. I did the ovidrel on Wed night! I do feel crampy but it's not too intense. I have two folliies one on the right and one on the left so between that and my head it's crazy in there!

Good luck!! I am having pains today but not as intense as yesterday. I should have mentioned I also have a health issue and may have been why I was experiencing pain. Keep me posted on your IUI!!
