IUI Costs
we have no coverage for fertility we have done IUI twice and are looking into another opinion , our RE charges $800 each IUI ( it includes blood, sono and insemination and washing ) anyone else pay out of pocket and can give me prices ?...we went for a consult somewhere else and for the same thing that we pay $800 they charge $4250.
Update: Clomid was not included in price

$800 is an awesome price to include all that. Written paid $2700 I think for ours, not including meds.

My dr charged my insurance 390 for the IUI and there were never any "related charges". I did my IUIs through my OBGYNs office so they were billed as an office proceedure and not as an IUI so it was not taken out of my lifetime allowance for fertility coverage. I did it with clomid so the drugs only cost me $10/cycle

That's an AMAZING price. We paid OOP for everything too. IUI was $2400 not including the Femara, Ovidrel or Emdometrium.
