IUI and pregnancy tests
Are you supposed to always go for a blood pregnancy test at your clinic with IUI? If you get your period and you know IUI failed, is this something still expected?

it depends. if you are on progesterone you might want to go for the beta because you might not get AF on it. if you just get AF like normal after the IUI you prob don't NEED a beta, but some doctors still do them anyway just to be sure.

If I got AF before my beta day then I would just call to cancel the beta but tell them I would need to make an appt to start a new cycle.

Re: IUI and pregnancy tests
My Dr. always did the blood test for IUI, even when I knew it was neg, but it was confirmation that I could come off of the progesterone supplement...

My dr requires it bc even though you get af it may not be af and they want to confirm.

Re: IUI and pregnancy tests
My dr never scheduled me for a beta when I had IUIs. I was supposed to call at 14 days past IUI if I didn't get AF. I usually got AF so I'd just go in for day 3 testing. On my BFP cycle I got a + on my HPT at 9 and 10dpiui so I went in for a beta at 11dpiui.
