IUI #3 fail
I know there are so many of you who have been through worse, but this is extremely defeating!!!! I'm tired. Taking a break this cycle so we can look at other options.
Have any other couples out there other "unexplained infertility" conceived through IUI? TIA

im so sorry!!! dont compare yourself to what others have gone through, what youre going through is difficult and traumatic for YOU!!!
i have definitely taken breaks throughout this journey, sometimes you just need them!

i know it can be hard, but IUI's do work. unfortunately, when its unexplained IF, i think its doubly hard since there is no known cause.
IUI's work for many people, it worked for me. but sometimes, a break is necessary to keep you from going insane in the meantime and lets you refocus....Good Luck to you!!!!!!

I have unexplained as well, and it's incredibly frustrating because it cant really be "addressed"...just gotta go with it.
Take a break if you need it...I always find that the day or two after AF arrives after yet another failed cycle looks better. but take whatever time you need. it's an exhausting process!!!

So sorry about your BFN, we had unexplained infertility and we conceived on our 3rd IUI. However it was the first one that we also did clomid.

I am so sorry you're going through this. I too have unexplained IF and After 4 failed iui's I went to IVF. At 36. i felt like I wasted soo much time. I am now pregnant with twin girls after 1 round of IVF.

Thank you, just 100mg of clomid. I am taking some time off but definitely going to talk to the Dr. about another approach.

I'd definitely consider giving injectables a try. Clomid doesn't work for everyone.

It got PG on my 5th IUI. We were not unexplained but, had some male factor issues. Not the worst of the issues but, enough that we weren't getting PG. It took 5 times. The last two were Clomid. Good Luck and hang in there.
