IUI - OPKS
Does eveyone use OPKs when they do IUI to confirm timing of O?

Im doing an IUI on tuesday and the dr said to use them anyway to check for the surge.
I already use the Clear blue monitor and it should be asking me for a stick any day now. So we'll see.
cant hurt to do the OPK's...

no, the RE would have me come in for bloodwork and sonos to confirm O since the OPKs didn't work for me

They have asked me to use them along with sonos and blood work every other day just to make sure I was or was not surging. This way I knew when and if to trigger or if I was surging on my own to come in the next day for IUI.

i go for bloodwork and sono bc opks dont work for me. i have pcos and constant high levels of lh so according to poks im O'ing pretty much my whole cycle

I always have to use the ClearBlue Digitial OPK's with the smiley face to check for the surge before and then go in the next day for the IUI.

OPK's never worked for me. SO always did sonos and bloodwork.
