IUD?
How soon after you give birth can you get an IUD? DH plans to get a snip, I'm totally on board, however, I don't want to make a rash decision- I mean I had to use fertility treatments to get pregnant but that doesn't mean a thing- I could get pregnant on my own by some miracle. What if I want a baby in a few years? I don't want to decide right now, so while DH plans to get a snip, i would rather get an IUD for a few years. How soon can I get it done?

IUD?
My OB discussed it with me at 6 weeks pp. I passed and went back on the pill and then changed my mind and had it put in at 5 months pp. So I would think at or shortly after 6 weeks.

I got mine at 7 weeks. Once the dr cleared me for sex.
