It's Spring next month!
Maybe I'm jumping the gun a bit, but since it's February 1st, technically Spring starts next month, even if it is March 20th....

Unfortunately, early spring is a lot like winter where I live. It doesn't really start feeling like spring until late April/early May - if we're lucky!

We NEED a snow day from school or winter just is not worth it - thats the purpose of winter right? My kids LIVE for a snow day so fingers crossed we get one before this "spring" of yours arrives

I just want that smell.
That smell where it's still chilly out (because Spring in NY is not warm let's face it!) but you can feel a slight warm up, and it's bright sunshine, and you open the windows and the air has that smell. Still cold but it's like the smell of hope.
I actually fantasize about that around this time....

I liked winter just fine before I had a child. I never minded staying in on cold days, but now we are going stir crazy and I can't wait for warm weather so my son can go outside and play.
