Its only 8 AM
and i have already been made to feel like shYT 
A former coworker finds out I'm expecting and called me to "congratulate me".. anyway, he goes, well looks like someone's gonna have to step out now. I said, yes, but I will be back after a few months, or that's the plan.. and he just continues to tell me that if I decide to be a mother then I should be willing to quit my job and he didn't say it so nicely either. I'm sitting here with my eyes welled up.. what an a$$ seriously..

You are a better person then me, I would have cursed him out. People really need to learn how to keep their mouths shut.
I am sorry he made you feel bad, just know that for some of us staying home isn't an option and we have to return to work

what an A$$. Tell him that you are confident that you'll be able to handle a career and a baby, after all, women have been doing it for years 
I hate when people give their opinions when it's not wanted
I am kind of in a similar boat but it's my mom. She is really making me feel bad about possibly having to use daycare or a nanny when I go back to work. This is if my IL's are unable to watch the baby. She's going on and on about how it's not good for a baby to not be raised by family 
We just can not live on one salary and should not be made to feel bad about it

thanks girls, i'm usually the one with the tough skin and let things roll off my back. This one hit a nerve, maybe because I know it will be hard but its something "I" have to do.

I'm ok now.. I had to vent to DH, and of course DH was like I was letting my own insecurities creep up and combining with the hormones were not a good thing.. I'm ok now. He's an idiot. He has two kids and his wife doesn't work.. so I think he feels he can throw it around at everyone else. Crazy dumb people..
