It's official

My feet no longer fit in "regular" shoes. Only flip floppy shoes. I tried this weekend and again this morning, but unless i want to split the seams, they don't fit Chat Icon

Also, my sneakers are tight as well.

ETS: I wasn't prepared for this to happen so early in my pregnancy Chat Icon

Re: It's official

It could also have something to do with the weather. You swell in the heat.

Re: It's official

I have to aggree that the heat and humidity could be making it worse. However I remember in my pregnancy once they swelled up there was no going back.

You might want to invest in a larger or wide width pair of comfortable shoes suitable for walking. As easy as flip flops are they don't provide much support and you need it more then ever when you are PG.

Preferably something slip on for the later months when you can't reach the laces! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

One day a few weeks ago, I had to walk over the bridge because the trains weren't working and my feet were pretty swollen by the time I got home. Since then, my feet have been getting progressively worse. So, I think you are absolutely right...once they swell, there is no going back. Chat Icon

I went shopping yesterday for shoes and tried flats with an open back and they didn't even fit. Chat Icon

I don't like flip flops, but don't mind wearing them when I am home around the neighborhood. but, not to come to work with. Right now I have these sandals that have a little wedge heel and a strap across the front of my foot, but I don't know how long these will last either.

Thanks ladies. I know you feel my pain, but it is sooooo frustrating.
