It's happened.....CANKLES!!!
Well, I thought I was going to be a lucky one who didn't experience any swelling during pregnancy.
I just looked down and realized that my ankles have completely disappeared and have been replaced with nice, round CANKLES!!!!!!!! 
Seeing as that I always skipped this part in my "readings"...what can I do to help the swelling go down?

 Join the club - I have major cankles these days. I was told to keep them elevated.

Ah- Hillary Clinton found a new victim I see....
Water and elevation. They should be back to normal by tomorrow morning (I find the little thief collects her cankles and returns nice thin ankles by morning).

It's most likely the heat.
Dr told me
Keep feet elevated
Drink lots of water
Watch sodium intake

I too am experiencing the cankle.
My toes look like over stuffed pigs in blankets!!! I can't even wear real sandals anymore...only flip flops.

I also read that swing is good for the swelling
you could probably just put your feet in the water and move them around

That stinks, mine are definitely wanting to cross over to cankles too!!

my doctor said extra fluids, putting your feet up and staying in air conditioning will help with any swelling - I was told if I want to walk now it needs to be in air conditioning like at the mall to help with the swelling.

You're blood volume has increase 50%! Its bound to happen...mine are slowly dissappearing-it's awesome-haha.

i posted about this yesterday too. i'm 21 weeks and have cankles. it only seems to help when i elevate them by laying down with 2 pillows under my feet (just laying down doesn't seem to do anything). There is no way i can elevate them at work - although i work at a desk - i get up too often and its uncomfortable... i'm going to talk to doc tomorrow about this! its my ankles and feet

I also heard that walking helps because it increases circulation.
It never helped me, but it might work for someone else!
I'm still sporting the moon boots a week after my baby was born!

Just foot elevation, maintain a low-sodium diet and drink lots of water/fluids. Staying out of the heat helps.
