...and already Oreo lost interest in his new kong toy and tore his new "ducky" apart...

...sigh...they really should make dog toys better.

Penny has torn apart almost all her toys from Christmas. I bought the most heavy duty toys I could find, including rope toys, and they are destroyed. My dog is only 14lbs!!! I can't imagine what a 70lbs dog does to these toys.

I have tried the rope toys too and he manages to get at them also. He also pulls off the rope strangs, swallows, and chokes/gags on it, so I don't give them to him anymore. All of the other heavy duty toys just don't keep his interest, even with stuffing/peanut butter/treats (He's not a big snacker, so this doesn't surprise me really).

I know with Bailey (over 100 Ibs), it was rare to find toys he didn't destroy too.

Isn't it so frustrating?! I don't understand why they can't make better dog toys. I just recently bought a cotton stuffed animal and it riped the day I bought it. I'm always sewing his toys it's such a PITA.

Does sewing help? Do you really get much more play out of them?
