It's a small world.. Cool story
For the first dance class of every month, they open up the blinds and the parents can watch through the window.
I was talking to a Mom that I had never met before and she was very nice. After class, when the girls came out, I asked her DD's name. It was Stella. I told her how much I loved that name. She then asked my DD name. I told her Ava Isabella. She looked at me funny and said "Was she born in July 2004?" So I said yes. She then went on to tell me that she thinks that we were room mates in the Maternity Ward at Good Sam. Ava was born on July 16th, her DD on July 17th. She asked what room # I was in, but I don't remember. I just remember that I had the bed by the door. She said that she had the window.
Wow!!! I wonder. I am going to look through her baby book tomorrow to see if I can find the room number. If it is true, it must be fate that they are meant to be friends!!

I actually ran into my Maternity roommate's DH at Chucky Cheese about 4 months after I had the twins...I had them in Huntington Hospital and this was the Chucky Cheese in Islip!!!

My roomie kept her curtain closed the entire time so I really don't know what she even looked like
We talked a lot, but it was always through the curtain - kind of wierd.
My mom however kept in touch with all of her roomies and I went to school with the girl that I was born with - just saw her a few weeks ago (and we have the same b-day!)

ETA- ive seen people who were in the maternity ward at the same time as me after DD was born but i dont remember my roommate because she didnt come into my room til the morning i was leaving.
