Itchy head?
Over the past couple of weeks I have noticed that my scalp has become crazy itchy.
I haven't noticed flakes or anything like that, it just really itches.
I have recently started to cut back washing my hair to every other day when I don't work out.
But it seems itchier on days I DO wash it.
I did recently dye it again (same brand I've used for years) and for the most part, I use shampoos/conditioners from Trader Joe's.
The only product I use in my hair is argan oil. That too I've been using for awhille.
What do you think could be making it so sensitive?
Any recs to make it stop?

Re: Itchy head?
I had this recently, drove me NUTS. All I did was switch shampoos and it helped.

Itchy head?
Get the nutragena tgel shampoo. It smells like mothballs, but really helps. I use it every few days.

Re: Itchy head?
I would either try using the T-Gel shampoo every couple of days. It doesn't have the best smell, but works. Another one, which I think works a lot better and smells better too is Nizoral. Again, I would just use them every couple of days and not everyday because it can be really drying to your hair.

Re: Itchy head?
Thanks. I actually have some pure tea tree oil.
And one of the shampoos I use has it in it.

Re: Itchy head?
I just can't use some shampoos but I have not figured out a specific ingredient that causes it. It seems to be hit or miss and it seems to be related to shampoos, not as much to conditioners.
