Issues with my due date
I haven't even seen the Dr yet but I estimated I'm due September 1st (based on several websites). I'm so nervous I'll go late and end up having a September 11th baby. I didn't even think about this until just now but I would have a really hard time with that date. 
If I go early though I could have a baby on my birthday....8/27.

Did you lose someone you loved on Sept 11?
I have a friend with that bday.
I think this is something you really shouldn't be over-thinking now, or stressing about. Especially since you have zero control over it and it's so far away.
I also don't think having a birthday on sept 11 is that tragic... to me it's more of a rebirth... celebratory. It might sound warped to some... and I don't think anyone should ever forget what happened... but I don't think we should condemn that day for anything else to occur. Does that make sense??

And can I also just please say... I'm SOOO happy to hear September due date babies are coming around now!!! That's sooo awesome!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE when we get into a new month of due date mommies.....

Most drs will induce you at 41 weeks. So your baby will be here by 9/8. :)!

I know this it totally silly to feel this way and no I didn't loose any loved ones but I still can't help feeling that way. I mourn every single year when the date passes by and I would'nt want to feel that way on my LO's bday. Another reason which I didnt post before is a distant friend had a baby this past year on 9/11 too so I'd prefer not to share the day lol. If I have bday parties in the future several people would overlap with both of us and my best friend is her baby's godmother. Oh man I'm an over thinker can you tell?

You can't control people calendars regardless of what day your LO winds up being born. There will always be someone that can't attend something because of conflicting events. I wouldn't stress over it that much.
You, as their mommy, will make it the most special day ever, regardless who is there to share it with you.
As far as the bday being 9/11 - the likelihood of that happening is so slim I wouldn't even think twice about it.

I had that problem too with DD, her dute date was 11 years to the day my mother died and i didnot want her born that day but thanks god she came 14 days early. I agree with the PP that the doctor won't let you go that far anyway, he will probably induce you before that.
