Is your child always warm?

DS1 seems to always be warm. Like his normal temp is 98.9 or 99. For his 4 yr well visit she took his temp and just said it's from running around and the heat. I said he wasn't sick, which he wasn't at all then.

Well, the past few days he had a virus so was running a temp. I keep checking his temp and now it's 99 and he's acting totally normal today. He's on meds and finally feeling better.
Just wondering if he always runs warm or what? It is summer and he gets hot easily.
I know it's not a temperature. Just wondering if anyone else's child is like that?

We still have the same child.. DS always runs warm... 99- 99.8 is his norm most days... In the evening, he goes up to 100-100.5... I use to think he was brewing something... The dr said he just runs warmer the most kids..

M is always warm. I am constantly taking her temp because I always feel she has a fever Chat Icon . I think some kids just have a high body temp. I think D is also like that. She sweats like crazy at night, all year long.

My DD is always warm. It freaks me out all the time bc I think she has a temp but like the PP said, I think some kids are just warm. DD is a sweater! Esp her feet. My Dh is like that also.
