I don't think it's too girly, but I think your son is too old for it. Your son is about a month or two older than mine I think - my Andy is 16 months.

That toy is for a younger baby who isn't standing/walking much. You'd be better off getting him a bigger kid play kitchen. My son plays with my daughter's all the time, has been for quite a while now. We have the FP Grow with me kitchen I like that it doesn't take up a lot of room but they seem to like hiding things inside all the doors.

Yes my DS is 16 months too. But I looked at the age requirements and I think it said ages 6 months to 3 years.

I like the one you have but I think it looks a little girly....I don't know...

I don't think the one Cathy posted looks girly at allChat Icon The accents are all blue!!

I don't think play kitchens are thought of as girls toys anymore, they are pretty much all unisex. I can't wait to get one for DS!

They are actually more purple, so I guess some might say it's girly. I needed one that didn't take up a lot of room since I don't have a separate play room.

But I was just saying that since he'll be 18 months at Christmas, I don't see him playing with this very long. That baby in the pic looks 9-10 months old to me and his head is almost hitting the light in the arch when he's sitting. I can't believe they are saying that a 3 year old kid would play with that.

There are lots of play kitchens out there, I'm sure you can find one your DH likes. There is even one that has a BBQ on the back side of it, it's really cute!

I don't think it's girly at all. All kids love to play in the kitchen....it's not like it's bubble gum pink. BTW, have you checked out JCPenny's website. Someone on her posted about a kitchen that was on clearance for $35.00. I just bought it for DD. It looks even more masculine too!Chat Icon

Nope, and as a matter of fact, Steven has it and LOVES it! He plays with it every day. I can safely say that he plays with this toy the MOST!!!
