Is this okay for a 4yo boy gift?
My 4yo dd just got this and loves it so I ordered some as gifts. Just second guessing whether it seems girly. I guess the little dolls maybe are throwing me.

Not girly but I think it depends more on the kid as far as if they would play with it.
My DS would play with it for about a minute and a half and then probably never play with it again. He just need more to his toys lately.

Re: Is this okay for a 4yo boy gift?
My 3.5yo boy would love that but he also has an older sister and is accustomed to playing with her toys. I'm not sure if I'd buy it for a 4yo boy that I don't know very well. I can see how some might view it as kinda girly.

I think I would be more concerned that it looks a little young for a 4 year old. I think my 2yo DD would enjoy it.

Not really something my DS would enjoy at 4.

Hmmm, definitely torn. Like I said my 4yo loves it but she has a good imagination and attention span which I know her friend does as well. I picked it out for dd when we were at a hotel and she was getting bored. I walked by it many times in the toy store without much thought but when I really looked at it I knew she'd love it. Each side has a door with a specific key leading to its own little room. She cam spend an hour at a time playing pretend with the little dolls or locking up other toys. I figured it was also nice for kids with young siblings bc there are no choking hazards. Maybe I'll try to think of something else and save that for another kid.

DS has this. He got it when he was around 2 yo. At that age he liked ringing the bells and putting the dolls in and out of the doors. It's also good for older children because the keys are hard for a younger child, but as they become more dexterous, it's perfect.
