Is this ok?

My first Doctor's apt is December 11th (8 weeks). Is this normal? I've seen a lot of you go right after you get a BFP to get Beta numbers or see the heart beat (I'm clueless).

I only went early because I had a m/c in June, so the doctor wanted to monitor everything very closely. Eight weeks is the norm from what I have been reading!

Yes, it's perfectly normal. If god forbid something happens before then there is nothing they can do anyway. You can't see things that early anyway. You should get a sono when you go to your 1st appt

I did not go until 8 weeks, that is totally fine, don't worry

I went early b/c I have many other health issues that could make me high risk. Originally I would not have had my first appointment until 8 weeks. I asked them if they could write me a prescription for blood work.

I went early b/c I had IVF to get PG...a Few of us recently PG did...so your seeing a lot more of that too....

My dr. wouldnt see me til I was 8 wks pregnant. They agreed on 7 wks because I was about to leave on my HM and wanted a checkup before I left.....
