Is this ok ??
I recently got a new central ac unit. The company told me they had to put a drain pipe though my roof to drain water out from the drain whic in theory is going to go onto my gutters...the way the house was built that's the only way they could do it. So they sealed around the drain which I have no problem with my concern is the drain pipe is short and leaking on my roof shingles down to the gutters... Is that normal ? I'm a little nervous it will rot the shingles and cause water damage... Am I right?

It's shouldn't leaking directly onto the roof. Maybe they need to put a longer tube. Mine goes directly into the gutter. I'd call them
Back and ask them to fix it
