DC was EBF/pumped breast milk. We supplemented with Neosure for two feedings and here is what we noticed. She is gassier than usual-doesnt hurt it seems but sure does stink. Her poop is not yellow but green...
Is this normal?

Green poop is usually gas. If it doesn't seem to bother her, that's good! It is good that she is farting. Not good if she's not farting. Then it gets all trapped in her belly and that is where the pain come.

So, yes, it's normal and good that she is releasing the gas.

I never knew that the green poop was gas either....but we had this when we were using Gentlease, it was neon green and a very foul smell (could have cleared a room out)....both the Enfamil people and the Dr told me that it was normal and that it was part of the adjustment to the different formula....and it went away after a few weeks (right before we switched again) Chat Icon
