Is this normal for the first time in a baby pool?
DD screamed her head off at a playdate today (she's 10months old)...
She LOVES the bathtub and playing in there, but maybe because the pool was a little chilly, she freaked...and cried and cried...and looked at me like Why would you put me here...then I let her chill on the grass finally 
Normal?

huge difference between a warm bath and a cold pool, so i would say it's normal to have a reaction like that

my DS is 13 months old and HATED it. Cried hysterical.
I wouldnt worry. I was more upset because I wanted him to go in sooo bad.

We put them in a little baby pool today. I filled it with warm tap water instead of the hose. Before I even put water in it I let them sit in it to get a feel for it. Later on I put the water in and put them in with water. Didn't put that much water in it.

My MIL boils water to mix with the hose water to make it luke warm. DS hates really cold water (and who really doesn't!).

I specifically went to Target today with all the crazy lines to get DS a little kiddie pool. It only had about 3" of water in it and he still screamed his head off. I really wanted him to like it and was ****** that I didnt buy a bigger one so that *I* could at least cool off in it!
