Is this just pregnancy hormones or does everyone do this?
Those St. Jude commercials that come on or the Johnson and Johnson nurses heal commercial...seeing those little kids who are sick break my heart and I cry and then I go grab DS and give him lots of kisses and I say a quick prayer every time thanking God over and over for my healthy, perfect boy and that He continue to protect him, I pray the same things for my DS#2 that I am pregnant with and I pray for the kids who are sick that He heal them and pray for their families because I can't imagine the pain they are going through and just thinking about that pain makes me cry more.

I'm a nurse so every time I see those commercials I get teary. I refuse to watch the animal commercial (ASPCA?) with that Sarah McLaughlin song, because I will adopt them all given the chance and it just makes me cry.
I'll cry over anything sentimental now. When I first had DS I cried every time I sang him a lullaby or nursed him. DH would walk in all confused and I would just keep saying "I love him so much!!!"

Those commercials break my heart and to be honest, I turn away. I literally hurt for those children and sometimes I just can't take it. Same as the ASPCA commercials with the Sarah McLaughlin songs. Ugh!
And I just feel awful that I can't give more than we do to our charities as it is, so the commercials just overall make me feel awful. Soooo sad!

OMG those ASPCA commercials get me every time. I have 2 cats that are handful and we can't take anymore pets but I feel SO guilty seeing that commercial or even going to Petsmart where they have the cats for adoption. I yell at DH to change the channel every time it's on... "TURN IT OFF! HURRY HURRY" he's like what is wrong with you!
