Is this cutting it to close
So my EDD is 7/1/11. I originally planned on having a May shower but my sister (shes planning it) wants to have it the first weekend in June b/c mothers day and memorial day fall in May. I'm nervous b/c I feel like even though I am due in July the baby could come any time in June. Any advice...what do you ladies think? TIA

we have the same due date and mine is going to be may 15th. at first my mom said the first weekend in june but i said id rather it be earlier than later. i dont think its too close if it HAS to be that weekend, but i know i personally wanted mine a bit earlier.

This is exactly how I feel, I prefer to air on the side of caution. Instead of praying for the baby to come out I'll be praying for it to stay in, lol. Guess im just a little nervous.

I had my shower at almost 36 weeks. I had wanted it earlier but my mom pushed it back hoping that we could avoid snow and out of state family would be able to attend. When I started contracting like crazy at 34 weeks we thought I might not make it to my shower and I was disappointed. Luckily I'm still prego though and I was able to go without a problem. It can be a bit risky to do it so close though! You really have to weigh the pros and cons!

I think it will be fine! I had my shower July 26th and DD was born August 14th! EDD was August 24th...

My shower was 5 weeks before my due date. I actually had DS a month after my shower. I feel like it was nicer even closer to him arriving.
