is this braxton hicks?
to the right of my belly button, it got really tight, like the right side of my uterus was a rock. I had no pain, but it felt tight. It stayed for a minute or so then went away.
is this braxton hicks or did the baby just push over to the side? making sure this is all normal.

It could be either one and both are perfectly normal.

Yup, this is what my dr told me.
I told him I occasionally feel pressure and wondering if it's movement or braxton hicks. He said it could be both but neither is a concern.
The way I've basically figured is - if my entire stomach gets hard, it was braxton hicks. If it was just one area that got hard and raised a little, it was a butt or a head or something Either way it's not a problem.

Yes, this is EXACTLY how I figure as well. They told me BH or all contractions my WHOLE stomach will get hard.

Yepper. My doc said baby likes to stay on one side of uterus a little more sometimes. I have had braxton hicks since seriously like 18 weeks and for the most part, on the right side. Looks like my whole stomach is lop sided.

Re: is this braxton hicks?
The feeling I'm getting in my stomach is very low by my pelvis and its some pressure with a menstrual cramp feeling to it...it happens once in a while and I'm hoping it's just Braxton hicks even though I do not notice my stomach tightening I think I'm going to call my doc tmr because I have experienced this for a few days and I'm only 26 weeks and and I hope its not signs of premature labor
