Is this bedding considered neutral...or is brown "boyish"?

My husband thinks brown is "boyish".

We are Team Green, again, for Baby #2. I found this bedding & love it...but is it neutral? Or should I keep looking?

Its very cute - but it does seem "boyish" to me. jmo... but maybe with the right accents it can go either way?

If your furniture is white or you accent it with lots of pink in the room, it could work for a girl. In general it seems more boyish to me, but I could see it working for a girl if you added pink in the room.

Personally, I find it boyish. But my sister had something similar with baby #3, who turned out to be a girl and well, she didn't really seem to mind! Chat Icon
If you really like it, go for it (it's hard to find Chat Icon bedding)!

Paint the walls a light pink instead of green or blue and it should be girlie. If not its seems pretty neutral.

If you love the baby jungle animals, what about this for team Chat Icon? It's from Target.

i think it's cute for a boy or girl. but then again, this is coming from someone who is having a girl and her room is an aqua and orange theme with chocolate brown and white accents :)

Brown can usually go either way. IMO this set is a little boyish.

I would say neutral. The color keep it neutral and the animals are good for a boy or girl.

Re: Is this bedding considered neutral...or is brown "boyish"?

I think it could go either way depending on the rest of the decor and furniture...with a lighter color furniture and lighter walls I think it will be fine. But I'm not in to traditionally girly things myself, so if we have a girl I'd probably do something in shades of tans and browns anyways.

It is very cute, but I do agree with your husband. I think it is boyish. Maybe because of the lions.

It's a jungle.

Last I checked both boys and girls live in the jungle with Lions.

... at least somewhere in the world! :D

Boys and girls both like jungle animals. I think it's fine for a girl.

Then again -- if we have a Chat Icon I will NOT NOT NOT be making everything pink.

Re: Is this bedding considered neutral...or is brown "boyish"?

Again the way the picture is set up, it looks boyish. But if you put a light pink paint on the walls, some lighter furniture, some cute girlie stuff toys, it should work out just fine. And its not like the boyish room will really effect her. I knew a couple that were adopting a girl, so they bought all this girl stuff for the room. Then last min the adoption fell through and they got a boy instead. The poor kid had a pink room with butterflies for the first six months of his life. LOL he didn't care. They painted his room and did a sailor theme when they were able too.

On the boyish end of the neutral spectrum, but can totally be girled up!
