is this bad?
RE's office called me to say that the doctor was reviewing my bloods and asked them to check my thyroid..turns out my number was on the high side..so they are putting me on a medication called Cinthroid (sp?)..
Is anyone on that?
Can having a high thyroid be bad???
The nurse didn't make it seem like it was that terrible..
Any have any experience with this?

Synthroid is a drug they give you to control your thyroid. It is totally safe during pregnancy and you should not be worried. My best friend was on it when she was pregnant with her first baby and is now pregnant with number two and still on it.

I'm so glad i am seeing an RE so that they caught this early..I didn't go for a yearly physical this year, so not sure if i just got this since the pregnancy or if i had it.

I have been on it for 3 years and currently 27 weeks pregnant, it is safe to take during pregnancy and just make sure you take it religiously. My sister also was on it during her entire pregnancy.

i've been taking synthroid for almost 2 years, daily. just don't forget to take it you will be fine.
