Is there infant benadryl or just childrens?

I want to give some to Megan for her rash. I forgot she had mac and cheese for the 1st time last night, jar, and I am thinking maybe she is allergic to cheddar??

But, do they make infant benadryl or is it just a lower dosage of childrens??

I *believe* you just give a reduced dosage.

Its just childrens, I was told to give RJ (who is 24lbs) a 1/2 a tsp. when he had an allergic reaction last week...Since it cleared up its own, I never gave it to him though..

I called the doc and dumb me forgot to ask how much now! ugh!

How much have you guys given?? Shes almost a year old.

I gave childrens...the pharm said that there wasn't an infants...not sure on the dose, but I remember it being big. Dr told me the amount for a bug bite.

depending on weight I'd think .5 teaspoon. I can give Emily technically 1.5 teaspoons now and she's 34 lbs. I believe we were doing the .5 dosage until she was 1 yr. I'd halve the smallest dosage it lists on the bottle.

my ped just told me 1/4 tsp for DD but she's less than 20 lbs. She's 19 lbs and change so maybe that's why it was less?
