From what I've seen it is for the most part but recently it valued my house less than what my mtg company had (currently refinancing but we didnt need an appraisal) but my moms was still accurate (she just had an appraisal last month)

ITA! it doesn't even have the right price that we just bought for 6 months ago, its MUCH higher.
to the OP have some real estate agents in to give you an estimate, or if you need it for a bank, get an apprisal done. I don't believe there is such a site out there that is accurate.

Chase had our estimate rediculously out of range with every other estimate out there. I KNOW it was because of games they were playing with HELOCS. They had cut ours and it was based on erroneous information. As soon as I challenged them the value went up $15,000 and did not take into account any of the extensive renovations we had done including a dormer.
