My real estate company's website, www.dallow.com, lets consumers search for short sales and/or foreclosures if you click on the "advanced search" option on the left hand side of the home page. It's free.

Also, feel free to FM me with your desired town and other criteria, and I can provide you with current listings on an ongoing basis.

Is there a specific reason why you are interested in foreclosures versus short sales? You may already know all of this, but you can often get more for your money with short sales versus foreclosure/REO properties because (i) the bank has not yet foreclosed and incurred all of the costs of the foreclosure (e.g., legal fees), so it is often willing to accept less for the property to avoid foreclosure, and (ii) short sales are usually in much better condition whereas foreclosures are often in disrepair (having been vacant for awhile). A lot of foreclosures are not mortgageable in a traditional sense -- they require a cash buyer or a rehab (203(k)) loan, because the basic systems (electrical, plumbing, etc.) are not in working order.

What about zillow? They are usually listed on the map

any realtor can pull you a list of all the foreclosures on the martket (never pay a fee...those sites are rip offs and inaccurate)

but not all realtors are knowledgable to sell you one successfully
