Is there a stomach bug going around?

I woke up this morning absolutely freezing and couldn't get out of bed. My whole body was shaking from being so cold and I asked DH to run a bath for me so I could try to warm up. As soon as I got in the tub I started vomiting and have had between 101 and 102 temperature all day. I've slept most of the day and am going back and forth from the bed to the tub because that's all I feel like I can do. Light is bothering my eyes tremendously and I have a terrible headache. Anyone know of anyone that has this and how long it lasts? TIA.

No one that I know of is sick, but it sounds like a stomach flu

Please feel better and drink plenty of fluids. I would say migraine, but it would not account for the fever.

YEP!

I had it two weeks ago, my girlfriend's son just came home with it yesterday and a bunch of other people I know have had it lately- it's definitely going around and it STINKS.

Thanks everyone. My fever was 102 all day the day I got sick. The next day the fever was gone for the most part but I still had the headache, a really bad sore throat, and kept breaking out in cold sweats- and alll I wanted to do was sleep.
Today (day 3 1/2) I'm still congested, the sore throat is still here, but not as painful as yesterday and I woke up still feeling really tired.
I don't feel like I have a fever though today so I think I'm going to take it easy and do some light stuff around here in the morning and then maybe rest if needed. Tonight I'm supposed to celebrate my nephew's 1st birthday but I don't even want to go near him if there's any chance that I'm contagious. His birthday is on my and DH's 3rd anniversary and we won't see him that day b/c he's 2 hours away from us all week (his parents work in queens and manhattan and have a coop in there).

YES! Its been going around my class for a few weeks now...I had it last week...and I think I have it again...last night I started to feel sick again
It stinks, this one just doesn't want to go away....even in the class the kids have gotten it a few times already
