Is there a good list out there with...

when we should be doing certain planning-things during our pregnancy?

like...

when to register?
when to look for pediatricians?
when to look for daycare?
when to pack a hospital bag?
when to order your furniture?
when to tour the hospital?
when to _______________?

I'm a first timer and I don't want to forget anything important that is time-sensitive or think of it too late... and I have no idea what I'm doing

I don't think there is really a list bc it is more on an individuals comfort level. I would say for me I wanted everything done by the time I was 37wks bc if I went into labor after that my DR was not going to do anything to stop me from delivering.

For me I did things as follows:
when to register? Around 20 wks
when to look for pediatricians? Started gathering names at 26 wks and interviewed at 30 wks.
when to look for daycare? Didn't do this
when to pack a hospital bag? 32wks
when to order your furniture? in between 24-34 wks bc stores delivery times vary.
when to tour the hospital? Didn't do this wasn't really important to me.
Lamaze classes: 32-36 wks
Baby shower: I wanted mine no later than 32 wks so I had time to look through everything and get organized.
Get Room ready: I wanted mine done by 33 wks

I think people do it according to comfort/time

I did not register but I think most people do it after 20w when they find out

Peds - I asked for recommendations around 30w and just interviewed last week at 33w

Daycare - I don't think I need this, but if I do it is only for 2 months starting in Sept, so I will look while I am on leave April-June

Hospital bag - I started about 2 weeks ago and I am slowly adding to it - I hope to finish it this weekend before I hit 35w

I ordered the furniture about 28w and was told it would take 12-15 weeks to come in - it took 2 so luckily they are holding it for us

I did not tour the hospital, but I was admited to L&D at 32w so I kind of felt that was enough

I took a CPR and BF class around 30w
