is there a chance
So three differenc unconnected people have told me i think your having twins. its def not bc of my belly, i barley have one yet. I am 17 weeks this week. do you think there is a chance when i go for my 20 week sono there will be 2 in there? im freaking out. I know its just people saying it but i feel like its a sign. im prob overreacting.

Not if you've had a 12 week sono - my doctor told me that one of the things they check for is multiple pregnancies. If there were two in there, your doctor would know about it by now.

I didnt have a 12 week sono, my first and last was at 8 weeks.

I would think by 8 weeks, your doc would've been able to see/hear 2 heartbeats, but I'm not an expert. I know my girlfriend who had twins found out at her first sonogram...I think around 7-8 weeks.

Thanks ladies, Im feeling better. I would be doubly blessed with twins but I dont think finacially I would be able to care for them. I was just looking too far into what people were saying.

they would have been able to tell at 8 weeks. I was originally pregnant with twins and we saw both sacs at 5 weeks.

At my 8 week internal sono my OB did a twin check and boy did she check!  It was like she was playing atari down there!
