Is there a boys name kinda like Keiran?
DH loves the name Keiran but when people say it I immediately think of my sister, Karen.
Our cousins from the midwest and friends from the south always say 'So how's your sister KEERAN doing?'
So whenever I hear Keiran, I think of Karen with that accent.
Are there any boys names that are similar? He wont drop it and we can't agree on one.

I once worked with a guy named Kieran (spelled 'ie') ... I always thought it was a very nice name  (or maybe that was because I had a major crush on cutie Kieran   )

The Irish version is Ciaran (pro. Ceerawn and more drawn out). There is also Cian (Kean) which I really like and my favorite, Cathal.

Ciaran- I think that would def help with the pron. vs. with a K.

My nephew's name is Kerin, but that probably doesn't help you much as it sounds even more like Karen.

I graduated with a guy named Keiran- I like it, but the different spelling with the C is a great idea.

how about keir (keer) ?
it's of gaelic origin, and means "dark haired" which would be cute if your little boy had brown hair.

I went to grammer school with a Kiernan.
ETS: Meant to also add that I really like that name.
