Is shellac and the generic gel manicures the same?
The place I always go to doesn't do Shellac, but they have another brand that's more or less the same thing.
Do they all work just as well?

is it gelish? if so, that's fine. IMO, stay away from OPI.. don't know what it is but it didn't work out the same as the others

Thanks, I actually don't know what it's called. . she just has signs up around the salon that says "ask about our gel manicures that last 2 weeks"  I know it's not Shellac...

just make sure it's color gel and not a gel manicure.. they are completely different.

My salon uses Gelaxy and it's great. I wouldn't hesitate to try it if that's what your place is using.
