Is she just using my boobs or is this a growth spurt??
For the past 3 days Sidney has been out of control. She usually eats every 2 hrs but now she only eats for about 5 minutes and then an hour later wants to eat again. At that point she shows all the signs of being tired so I try to put her down for a nap but she goes ballistic. Normally it is very easy for her to sleep. The only thing that will calm her down is the boob. And when I give it to her she actually eats...she doesn't just hang out on there. I can sometimes give her the boob for 10-20 seconds and then sneak the pacifier into her mouth and she will fall asleep but even that is not working at all today!!!
All the normal things that calm her down when she cries are not working. She is 12 weeks old today. Is this a growth spurt or just a really bad habit she picked up all of a sudden. PLEASE make it stop!!! She is going to be the size of a whale.
P.S. she doesn't spit up at all either so I don't know if i am overfeeding her or not.

How long will this last????
Her growth spurts in the past were no more than 2 days....
maybe its lasting longer cause I've been trying to not feed her every hr. Maybe today I will feed on demand and see what happens?

It depends on the baby. My daughters lasted about 5 days every growth spurt and she had more than the typical listed amount of them too. I always just fed on demand and tried not to pay attention to how often or how much.
