Is my DS drinking enough milk??
My DS is 13 months, he still BF first thing in AM and before bed---during the day he drinks water with meals and gets milk inbetween (usually after naps)---but he will only take 4oz max each time----so 8oz total (plus 2 BF sessions).
Do you think this is enough? Any hints on how to get him to drink it? He drinks well out of the sippy and has never really taken a bottle except a handful of times.

Re: Is my DS drinking enough milk??
This is exactly how my DS was/is. He is 17 months now. Our ped told us that 16oz per day was the minimum he should be getting, and that if he would not drink more than 4oz at a time, just to break it up into 4oz increments througout the day.
When you are nursing, he is probably getting close to 4 oz each time.
As long as he is happy and healthy (gaining and growing!) you are doing fine!
