Is it TOTALLY crazy
to wear open toe shoes on New Year's Eve? Would I have to wear pantyhose? I HATE them! I don't actually have fancy close toe shoes, and I want to wear a fancy skirt that I have on NYE. BUT, I can't spend any extra money on shoes. Is this totally a bad idea? I will be in a bar, and it would just be cold walking...what do you think?

I would get a pair of closed toe sling backs with a skinny heel. JMHO, but I would freeze my toes off if I wore and open toed shoe NYE.

That's what I was afraid of  I really dont' want to buy a pair of shoes. I guess my leather flats could work.

I would just wear the opened toe shoes.. no stockings.. if your cold.. your cold.. as long as you don't care and are willing to rough it.. it will look fine..

I wouldn't do it. Besides being cold I think it looks silly in such cold weather. But, it's not like people will sit there and point at you....do whatever you want to do!

I have wore open toed shoes on nye but have worn stockings. Im not the biggest fan of stockings either but I dont want to be too uncomfortable cold.

I wear open toed shoes all the time for evening events. I think it looks dressier and I did not think it was a bad thing?
