"Is it still in there?" Anxiety
Do any of you have this - you're feeling great, no horrible symptoms, but you just wonder if everythign is okay with baby?
i am 16 weeks - I heard the heart beat 2 weeks ago, and don't have a sono til September 8th...and I just hope everthing is fine. Is there anything I can do to comfort myself? Is it normal to feel worried?

Re: "Is it still in there?" Anxiety
VERY normal to feel like this. There is really nothing that you can do. But it is very normal

Re: "Is it still in there?" Anxiety
totally, totally normal.
you just need to keep yourself occupied until your next doctor's appointment. and if you are really really worried (although at this stage there is no reason to be) you can rent a fetal doppler so you can listen to the baby's HB whenever you want!!

This made me laugh. OK, glad it's normal. There is just so much to worry about if we let ourselves!

Yes, I feel the same way. I am starting to feel them move now, so that give me reassurance. Also my belly is getting bigger, so I assume that must mean they are getting bigger.

Re: "Is it still in there?" Anxiety
I have major anxiety!! I have such a fear that something is wrong with the baby. I had a sono today and the Doctor said everything looked good. This still doesn't help. I also have anxiety about everything that goes along with having a baby. So, no you are not alone!!

I was SO paranoid in the beginning....I would get so nervous in between doctor appointments....When you start to feel the baby move it will be easier

Re: "Is it still in there?" Anxiety
I was particularly worried towards the end of my first trimester up until I could feel flutters. I still worry from time to time, espeically if it has been a few hours since I felt movement, but I try not to think about it.

Re: "Is it still in there?" Anxiety
I am the same way!! I am just about 22 weeks and now that she started moving around I tend to relax...but when she's sleeping I sort of panic b/c I dont feel movement! I bought a fetal heartbeat monitor so if I really get worried I turn it on, find her HB and go on my way!
